Reel Memories started small, out of a real love for film and the art that came with it. It's grown since then with thousands of posters and adding more everyday. But the reason behind it hasn't changed. Calgary hasn't had a proper poster shop since the old store on 16th closed its doors over ten years ago, and we're building something to fill that space.
We're based at the Crossroads Market, and we're run by people who are passionate and actually know this stuff. . Reid Fisher grew up on comics and film, and that's carried through into everything he does, including his own art (Ravencrow Ink).
Original movie posters are a real art form, and one that's easy to lose. That's what we deal in, theatrical, reissues and home video releases. Alongside the posters you'll also find Reid's own artwork (also check out instagram.com/ravencrowink_art/ ) and other film memorabilia. Our goal is to bring real movie posters to anyone who loves film and art.
